Planning a New Well?

From the wellhead to the tap: pump systems, pressure tanks, controls, water testing, and treatment. Once the well itself is in, everything that makes it actually deliver water to your house is our work.

Pocono Well and Pump Service LLC does not drill wells. Well drilling must be performed by a PA-licensed water-well driller; we handle the pump, tank, controls, and water system.

Call to confirm which part of your project requires drilling and which involves pump and well-system service.

What we handle on a new well

We size and install the submersible pump, set the pressure tank, wire the controls, and test the water before anyone drinks it. We coordinate directly with your driller so nothing falls through the crack between the hole in the ground and the tap in your kitchen.

  • Pump sizing and installation
  • Pressure tank setup
  • Controls and wiring
  • Water testing, free for Poconos homeowners
  • Treatment recommendations if the test calls for it

Already have a driller, or need one?

Either way, call (570) 243-1679 and we'll walk through the whole project with you. New construction and well replacement projects both start with the same conversation: what's already in place, what's missing, and who does which piece.

Why the pump-and-system side matters as much as the hole in the ground

A new well is only as good as the system built on top of it. An undersized pump, a poorly set pressure tank, or controls wired without attention to the actual well output can turn a good well into a house with weak pressure or a pump that short-cycles from day one. That's the part of the job we own completely.

Common Questions

Do you drill wells?

Pocono Well and Pump Service LLC does not drill wells. Well drilling must be performed by a PA-licensed water-well driller; we handle the pump, tank, controls, and water system. We coordinate with your driller on new-well projects.

What do I need to have in place before you get involved?

It depends on where you are in the project. If the well is already drilled, we can typically start right away on the pump and system side. If you haven't started, call us and we'll talk through the sequence.

Do you handle water testing on a brand-new well?

Yes. Free water testing for Poconos homeowners is part of getting a new well ready to use, so you know what you're working with from day one.

What if the new water needs treatment?

We'll recommend treatment only if the test results call for it.

No water? We find out why. Then we fix it.
